What is image metadata?
Image metadata is extra information saved alongside the pixels in an image file. It can include when a photo was taken, which camera or phone was used, camera settings, GPS coordinates, copyright details, and editing software.
This viewer reads common EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, and image properties locally in your browser. Not every image contains metadata, and some formats or custom tags may not be supported.
